Jory Levy

Current IPRA World Champion heeler

Jory's hometown is Twin Oaks, OK but he currently resides in Hico, TX.

Jory started out bulldogging with his father and brother. When he turned sixteen he started roping and was hooked.

He's currently single and has no children. He enjoys water sports.

Joined the PRCA in 2000. In 2001, with partner Blaine Linaweaver, broke the world record with a 3.5-second run in San Angelo, TX.

Be a professional water skier

If you had a day off, you would do what:
Hang out at the lake

Steak

Favorite sports team:
Tampa Bay Bucaneers

Other than NFR, favorite rodeo:
San Antonio, Pendleton – my favorite roping by far is the Bushyhead Roping in Oklahoma

Hardest thing about what you do:
The time away from home and the miles

Best thing about what you do:
Freedom and the people you meet

Your best character trait:
Easy going

Your worst character trait:
Can’t stand to lose

My father

Invinsible

What makes you laugh:
Anything

Best horse you’ve ever ridden:
Poindexter, I rode him in 2001 and 2002. He had more heart and try than any horse I’ve ever seen.
